Meet me on the battlefield

Jeffrey Jones: Uther

On the battlefield slain, ours sons of Erin
Through the battlefield's pain, our sons of Erin
The earth will bleed the blood of your king
To a river carved deep by the sword of a Fiann

For our freedom this our plight
This land of life and dreams
Regal martinets march
To rot us at the seams

Course their warships towards the shore
Prepare tools of death
Await the dawn
Vigilant stalk as the waves draw them near

For our freedom this our plight
This land of life and dreams
Regal martinets march
To rot us at the seams

Meet me on the battlefield
My sons of Erin

So many times has our soil been drenched in blood
So many lives has this blood drenched soil engulfed

For the freedom this our plight
This land of life and dreams

Meet me on the battlefield

I can hold her...

Can you roll her?!

Vincent HRD Café Racer

Fast as light our jets were burnin'
On the road a distant siren song
Hands upon my engines growin'
Vincent's deep throat breathin' out so strong
I can hold her, can you roll her

Ride her like there's no tomorrow
Siren's song sure is growin' stronger
Shadow reached a high note
And in the distance electric lights no longer

I can hold her, can you roll her
I can hold her, can you roll her
I can hold her, can you roll her

Fast as light our jets were burnin'
On the road a distant siren song
Hands upon my engines growin'
Vincent's deep throat breathin' out so strong
I can hold her, can you roll her

I can hold her, can you roll her
I can hold her, can you roll her
I can hold her, can you roll her
I can hold her, can you roll her

I 'm just a foolish clown...

John Dunivant: The Clown

I 'm not a millionaire
I 've got no clothes to wear
in a tablespoon I 'm about to drown
I 'm just a foolish clown.
I want to change my life
with fire and a knife
and I want it soon
I 'm about to drown
I 'm just a foolish clown.

I want to get you back
because my world is black
where are you now
I 'm about to drown
I 'm just a foolish clown.
I 've got the biggest smile
tonight and for a while
I hope the paint will last
well, I 'm about to drown
I 'm just a foolish clown.

I 'm not a millionaire
I 've got no clothes to wear
in a tablespoon I 'm about to drown
I 'm just a foolish clown...

Redeemer

Frederick William Pomeroy: Perseus

All rise, face the light!
Fall to your knees, repent please, oh yeah

Down from the mountains the elders came
With a message for man
Fire and brimstone will follow you all
To the ends of the earth
As sure as the stars shine down on you
You must never look back
Abandon all hoe ye who enter here
Spoke the man in black

Lead us from temptation
Help us find the way
Show me the direction
That leads to my salvation

Inscribed in blood on the scroll of life
Was the auracle's will
Death and damnation will be your destiny
Purgatory awaits
A thousand curses I invoke on thee
In the name of tonight
A hellish fire will follow you all
Better run for your life

Redeemer save our souls
Redeemer grant us peace
Redeemer save our souls
Redeemer save our souls
We shouldn't have to fight
Let's go all the way tonight

I don't know what you've been told
But you're never too young to rock and roll
I don't know what tomorrow might bring
So let me love and let me sing tonight

So let's go all the way
It's gonna be alright
Let's go all the way
Love me or say goodnight
We shouldn't have to fight
Let's go all the way tonight

Heavenly melody

Frank Cadogan Cowper: Saint Francis of Assisi and the Heavenly Melody

It's a God awful small affair
To the girl with the mousey hair,
But her mummy is yelling, "No!"
And her daddy has told her to go,
But her friend is no where to be seen.
Now she walks through her sunken dream
To the seats with the clearest view
And she's hooked to the silver screen,
But the film is sadd'ning bore
For she's lived it ten times or more.
She could spit in the eyes of fools
As they ask her to focus on

Sailors
Fighting in the dance hall.
Oh man!
Look at those cavemen go.
It's the freakiest show.
Take a look at the lawman
Beating up the wrong guy.
Oh man!
Wonder if he'll ever know
He's in the best selling show.
Is there life on Mars?

It's on America's tortured brow
That Mickey Mouse has grown up a cow.
Now the workers have struck for fame
'Cause Lennon's on sale again.
See the mice in their million hordes
From Ibeza to the Norfolk Broads.
Rule Britannia is out of bounds
To my mother, my dog, and clowns,
But the film is a sadd'ning bore
'Cause I wrote it ten times or more.
It's about to be writ again
As I ask you to focus on

Sailors
Fighting in the dance hall.
Oh man!
Look at those cavemen go.
It's the freakiest show.
Take a look at the lawman
Beating up the wrong guy.
Oh man!
Wonder if he'll ever know
He's in the best selling show.
Is there life on Mars?

The Sa(n)dman

(Tytan - Sadman)

To Morpheus

Morpheus, thou god of sleep,
O'er my couch thy shadow spread,
Into slumber sweet and deep,
Let my weary soul be laid.
Fold me close within thy arms,
God of sleep! I woo thy charms.

Morpheus, thou god of sleep,
To my tossing bed descend,
From my brain these phantoms sweep,
Blest oblivion kindly lend.
Fold me close within thy arms,
God of sleep! I woo thy charms.

Morpheus, thou god of sleep,
Why dost thou refuse my prayer?
Lo! I bow in reverence deep,
Asking rest from thought and care.
Fold, oh! fold me in thy arms,
Mighty god! I woo thy charms.

Morpheus, thou false, false god!
I'll no longer sing thy praise;
Thou, denying me to nod,
Giv'st to those who read my lays.
Fold them close within thy arms,
God o'sleep! they need thy charms.

Kings of the Nordic Twilight

Edward Burne-Jones: The Viking ship (stained glass window design)

Soon the dew of morning filled all the silent wood
And when the sunbeams kissed his face
He opened his so lucky eyes in front of him the oak
The whispers of the river the freshness of the dawn
Oh, my god, where was I...
A land where my my dreams rule
Where hopes of victory become reality for every man
That hardly raised the steel
The fight for peace of reign is so won once again

Warriors, battles, swords of steel and magic, tragic destinies
Glory, pride and honor for my will for justice everywhere
I can't believe what I have seen there in that fantasy world of mystery
Many warriors and kings, golden swords of steel all united for victory
I speak to you for the last time before we ride to the sun
I could survive in your proud heart 'cause you are now one of us!

We are the kings of the nordic twilight
We are the lords of ice and snow
For the glory we will fight
For the peace we'll ride
For the skies we'll reign together

He felt on his knees having heard the holy words
And moved by the honor so...
"oh, no lord too much for me I still cannot believe,
the chance you gave to me is so great... I am a blessed man!"
Convinced of all the power of what true love can do
And while the whispers of the brave began to fade
He understood life wouldn't be the same,
With all emotions of today he would have found his way

Warriors, battles, swords of steel and magic, tragic destinies
Glory, pride and honor for my will for justice everywhere
I can't believe what I have seen there in that fantasy world of mystery
Many warriors and kings, golden swords of steel all united for victory
And at last also I know truly what love can do
So try to live at your best and ride from the sun to the moon

We are the kings of the nordic twilight
We are the lords of ice and snow
For the glory we will fight
For the peace we'll ride
For the skies we'll reign together

"... And finally the silent woods of Valdaran greet the fierce battalion.
Victory rides in the heart of all nature... and light and shadows play all over the land
Before the lord of twilight gives the knights a deserved rest... "

Along the border between earth and hell...
May now your kingdom prevail!

I speak to you for the last time before we ride to the sun
I could survive in your proud heart 'cause you are now one of us!
And at last also I know truly what love can do
So try to live at your best and ride from the sun to the moon

We are the kings of the nordic twilight
We are the lords of ice and snow
For the glory we will fight
For the peace we'll ride
For the skies we'll reign together

Lady of the night

Donato Giancola: Lancelot and Guinevere

It's the end of the day, and the night is coming fast
With the last rays of the sun, leave a blaze for the dark
It's getting cold around (around around.. )

With the sounds of night, on the echoes of the day
Now it's time like every night, for the lady of the night

She's walking down the streets, like a ghost through the fog
She's got mist, all around, and she can get your soul

Listen, she's walking around,
Got to her touch
Never seen her face, but someone sense's her spirit
Like a loud cry

Lady, lady, of the night
